My 200 + books (thousands of hours of learning and effort) got deleted by Kobo without any warning (by “mistake”… a few days ago!)

I accept that mistakes by humans (even serious ones) are inevitable and form “part and parcel” of life’s journey; however I’d like an explanation of how this actually happened and truly hope that this devastating and hugely stressful episode doesn’t happen (hasn’t happened to other Kobo authors.
