Sharing some Thoughts to Live By (and “put a smile on your dial”… hopefully)

Thought I’d share some thoughts written “many moons ago” about 1999, “metinks”(the reason I write is to share).  If they bring some joy to anyone through my writings, I’m very happy, so ENJOY…

“If your passion is greater than your fear, you can overcome almost anything.”

“Where you risk, with passion and persistence, that’s where transformation happens.” from   “You think you have a limit. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go …

“Together, one mind, one life (one small step at a time), let’s see how many people (and lives) we can encourage, impact, empower, enrich, uplift and perhaps even inspire to reach their fullest potentials…and strive for and perhaps one sunny day even achieve their wildest dreams.”

“I refuse (absolutely) to be limited and defined by what I can’t do, but what I can do…my very best.

“For me true success may be measured by the fortitude, with which so many ordinary people around the globe overcome numerous seemingly insurmountable obstacles through sheer force of character and indomitable spirit. They rise above the severest adversity (that life sometimes throws at them) down the often rocky journey of life. Unheralded, yet with an unquenchable and infinite generosity of human spirit, these are lives of greatness and souls who are the true heroes of this world.”

WRITING

“I want to write books that change people’s lives – change the way they think and feel – fully change them for the better in some way.”

-anon writer

“I really value words. I really try to illustrate and let people draw their own conclusions, which is how I feel. I never want to proscribe what people should think and feel.”

– ‘another a nonymoose writer’

“I make art through writing…and words are my tools.”

– me

“My palette is the canvas of life”

– craig

“I want to write the way Gilles Villeneuve drove and power-slid his blood-red Formula One Ferrari… with wild enthusiasm and a sense of abandonment, combined with the artists craft of a Stirling Moss, a Jim Clark, and especially that of the great Ayrton Senna, living on the razor-blade edge of life.”
for dearest mom and dad, your spirits lives on (forever)
thanks for all the support, encouragement and especially love

“All the world will be happier and better, when the men and women have the souls of artists,, like that of an Ayrton Senna.

– craig (as inspired by Rodin’s famous words)

“I want to write the way Gilles Villeneuve drove and power-slid his blood-red Formula One Ferrari… with wild enthusiasm and a sense of abandonment, combined with the artists craft of a Stirling Moss, a Jim Clark, and especially that of the great Ayrton Senna, living on the razor-blade edge of life.”
“I want to write the way Australian Super-car driver, Craig Lowndes drives and power-slides his powerful V8 Holden Super-car… with wild enthusiasm and a sense of abandonment, yet combined with the artists craft and smooth style of a Jamie Whincup (craig’s team-mate), a Stirling Moss, a Jim Clark, and especially that of the great Ayrton Senna, living on the razor-blade edge of life.”

(thanks Craig and Jamie, for the great pleasure you give me watching “you guys” race here “across the ditch” on TV)

“I’d like to tell you how wonderful I am. I’m an excellent writer. I’ve won too many awards to list. I’ve sold a bunch of books. I can do 10 push-ups without a break, and while I can’t run a four-minute mile, I can drive it in about a minute and a half…”

– “an anonymous and very full-of-themselves” writer???

“There are three rules for writing a novel. Unfortunately, no one knows what they are.”
